Maternal and Neonatal Child Health-Care services

Since its inception in 2007, CHEF International has been involved in promoting and mainstreaming disability through its development initiatives, especially the visual impairment being its priority area. CHEF International has been instrumental in promoting and contributing towards inclusiveness and comprehensive development in healthcare services with focus on persons with disabilities. One of the objectives of CHEF International is to provide comprehensive and cost-effective healthcare services for all with focus on the needs of the persons with disabilities.

The Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) and Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Pakistan are alarmingly high. CHEF International has contributed to improve the MMR and IMR indicators through integrated and inclusive Maternal and Neonatal Child Health (MNCH) model at the primary level.
