CHEF International is delicately working to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities through primary health care and provision of assistive devices. CHEFI caters the needs of person with four types of major disabilities including

  • Physical,
  • Visual,
  • Hearing
  • Mental Health.

The aim of CHEF International Rehabilitation Program is to improve the living standard of individuals with disabilities. CHEF provide them with cutting-edge, cost-effective and high quality assistive technology and devices. The Rehab Program also focuses on development of their abilities at early stages for their better integration into the society.

In 2010, CHEF International hired a renowned Physical Rehabilitation expert from France to establish physical rehabilitation centers in Charsadda, Pakistan Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences Islamabad PIRS and in Al-Farabi School, National Special Education Center for the rehabilitation of children with disabilities Islamabad. All the Rehabilitation Centers are equipped with State of the art technology, latest equipment, trained human resource and expatriate technical expertise.

Al-Farabi Physical Rehabilitation Centre is an orthopedic workshop providing affordable, sustainable, high quality international standard orthotic & prosthetic devices at Al-Farabi Special Education Centre for children with physical disabilities. So far, around 3,401 patients have been provided services through the workshop, 2,954 Orthotics and 685 Prosthetics devices manufactured. More or less 0.034 Million patients walked through the doors of the workshop for consultation.
