DISTRICT MEDICAL & REHABILITATION COMPLEX

District Charsadda with a population of 1.2 million, an area of 996 square kilometers and 46 union councils was among the areas which was affected the worst in Khyber Pukhtoon khwa province during the floods of 2010, some of the areas were under water up to 7 feet. A lot of people lost their life and person with disabilities and their families became more vulnerable during and after the catastrophe.

CHEF International took notice and started a hospital by the name of ‘District Medical and Rehabilitation Complex’ Charsadda. The goal of the hospital is to provide comprehensive medical services in the area of eye, ear, mother & child, mental health, physiotherapy and orthopedic accessible to all the people in District Charsadda.
