DESCRIPTION:International organized a fundraising event to support the construction of the Chaudhry Sajjad Haider Memorial Hospital & Training Institute in Gujrat. The 100-bed hospital will be constructed on 1 acre of land donated by a local philanthropist and former Federal Secretary\, Ch. Ahmed Jawad. The event was attended by local philanthropists\, prominent industrialists\, and people from all walks of life. The hospital aims to improve the quality of life of persons having visual impairments due to cataract\, refractive errors\, diabetes related eye diseases\, trauma\, glaucoma and age-related macular disease through provision of quality comprehensive Eye Care Services and ophthalmic development. \n\n			 \n			\n				\n					\n						\n							\n					\n						\n							\n					\n						\n							\n					\n						\n							\n					\n					\n					\n				\n				\n			\n			\n\nHuman resource The proceedings started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and then welcome address by Prof. Dr Muhamad Daud Khan\, Chairman BoDs CHEF International\, speech by CEO CHEF-I\, Mr. Sohail Ayaz Khan\, address by Ch. Ahmed Jawad\, fundraising call\, plantation and visit of the site\, etc. Several local donors made cash donations at the event\, with amounts ranging from 25\,000 to 3 lacs. Whereas\, the organization also received several pledges from individuals who were unable to donate at the event but committed to supporting the cause in the future.
