Project Description

CHEF International implemented the Inclusive Education Project in District Charsada. It was aimed rehabilitating the education structure and services in the floods affected district of Charsada. The project was implemented in 26 floods affected government schools (eight girls and eighteen boys schools), catering to the education needs of the children from 26 adjoining villages/communities.


Objective of the project was the mainstreaming of children with disabilities belonging to the inaccessible areas along ensuring provision of inclusive learning environment and integration of children with disabilities into the mainstreaming education system in District Charsada.

Mainstreaming of children with disabilities in inclusive schools through medical assessment, provision of quality assistive devices, training of teachers and sensitization of the government on inclusive education matters.
