Commemorating Youm-e-Tashakur: Honoring Courage and Unity in Rajanpur – 23rd May 2025

As part of the nationwide campaign initiated by the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) in partnership with Paigham-e-Pakistan, Youm-e-Tashakur was commemorated on 23rd May 2025 in Rajanpur with great respect and unity. The event was organized by CHEF International – Pakistan, serving as PPAF’s implementing partner under the RSS&CR Project.

Held to honor the heroic sacrifices behind Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos and the unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s armed forces, the gathering brought together a diverse group of participants. Assistant Commissioner Jamil Ahmad attended as the chief guest, joined by Mr. Fayaz Maikin, CEO Health Department, and Ms. Shazia Nawaz, Deputy Director Social Welfare.

The program featured a recitation from the Holy Quran, heartfelt tribute speeches, welcome notes, and a symbolic cake-cutting ceremony. A peace walk followed by collective prayers for national harmony and prosperity concluded the event. A total of 79 participants, including men, women, and members of the transgender community, came together to express gratitude and promote a message of national solidarity.
