Assistive Technology & Rehabilitation

Initiated in October 2009, CHEF International launched a rehabilitation program with the primary goal of offering quality and affordable rehabilitative services to individuals with disabilities. Over time, this project transitioned into a comprehensive program, closely linked with Human Resource Development in rehabilitation. Currently, CHEF International oversees multiple rehabilitation centers, driven by the following main objectives:

  • Reduce social exclusion and facilitate the integration of individuals with disabilities into society.
  • Advocate for the rights, freedom, and interests of persons with disabilities, providing the latest, affordable, and high-quality assistive devices.
  • Develop and enhance knowledge and skills to deliver services through active participation in professional development and educational opportunities. Under this program, CHEF International conducted one of the largest wheelchair distribution programs in two provinces of Pakistan, contributing significantly to the wellbeing of individuals with disabilities.
