Dar ul Rehmat Medical Complex, Charsadda, proudly observed World Glaucoma Week 2025 on March 15, 2025, emphasizing the importance of early detection and treatment to prevent vision loss. The event was honored by Mr. Mahmood Aslam Khan, Secretary of the Housing Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as the chief guest. Mr. Ghafoor Shah, Member of the Board of Revenue, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Mr. Umer Fayz Khan, Assistant Director, Education Department, attended as guests of honor.

To mark the occasion and reinforce CHEF-I’s commitment to eye health, a Free Cataract Surgery Day was organized, during which eighteen cataract surgeries were successfully performed, restoring vision and transforming lives. The event served as a reminder of the urgent need for glaucoma awareness, early intervention, and accessible eye care services for underserved communities.
