Chaudhry Sajjad Haider in whose memory the (CSHMH&I) is being built was an internationally renowned Punjabi drama writer and Broad Caster (He retired as controller in Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation) He was Chairman of Punjabi Adabi Board and author of more than ten books including Punjabi Dramas. He belonged to village Mohla Kalan.

The Founding Chairman of the Hospital Management Committee was Mian Tayyab Hassan a renowned civil servant who passed away in February 2022. He was former Cabinet Secretary and Finance Secretary and has been the driving force behind the hospital project. After his demise, Mr. Farooq Haroon is the new Chairman of the Hospital Management Committee.

CHEF-I is financing the hospital building through its own resources along with major contributions arranged by Mian Tayyab Hassan founder chairman of the hospital management committee, board members, Ch. Ijaz Ahmad and Ch. Sajjad Haider’s Family. However as with any other project, specially a charitable one, generous contribution from the philanthropists and institutions through their CSRs and grants would be required to complete the project of this scale. CHEF-I and the sponsors would be striving to fill the gap for making state-of-the-art hospital a reality by making appeals for donations/contributions to philanthropists and institutions both at the local and international level. Contribution from CSRs of financial institutions and funds from the business and industrial enterprises would be particularly welcome.
